Solve : My printer takes ages to start printing? |

Answer» Hi all,
And Allan's questions(Sorry if I'm stealing your thunder)Hi guys, Quote from: Allan on DECEMBER 22, 2009, 05:46:35 AM You say it used to start printing more quickly. What's different since then (new hw, sw, etc)? Have you checked for a new printer driver? If not, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver? Tried that one with no change. Do I need to uninstall any old drivers? Quote from: macdad- on December 22, 2009, 06:55:26 AM Also check the connection from your computer to your printer(A loose or internally deteriorating cable may cause delays, although highly unlikely, but still a possible factor) Its connected via a USB cable and the printer is a Epson stylus D92 I haven't looked at the cable yet I will give that a try to. CheersQuote from: jowser on December 22, 2009, 08:57:59 AM Hi guys,You tried WHAT - a new driver or reinstalling the old driver? And as for the cable, unless your dog CHEWED it or you keep rolling over it with your chair, don't worry about it.In "control panel" "printers" --how many printers are listed? truenorth |
