Solve : My ram won't click in?

Answer»

I have 2 ram cards, I decided to take them out to clean everything, but now when I try to put them back in, they won't click in, it is aligned and on the gold teeth SIDE. What ELSE am I missing? There are lock levers at the end of each SLOT...RAM slot has SMALL clips at either side. Press these down to OPEN them. They don't need to move very far, so don't use too much force. Then line up your RAM and press it down into the slot. The clips should click back into place. Small correction: Some RAM slots only have clips on one side..

(that feature is to allow users with extra long graphic cards an easier way to remove and replace their RAM)

Also (I'm sure you figured it out already):

"RAM sticks are keyed, which means they have a gap in the connector that will ensure you can only insert them one way. Line up your RAM so that the gap on the connector corresponds with the RAM slot."
