Solve : my sound stopped working? |

Answer» Today I turned on my computer and the sound just didn't work. I tried RESTARTING and it didn't help. It's not on mute and the sound is turned up to the LOUDEST. I checked all sound settings and it said that it's working properly. But there's absolutely no sound!assuming you have not recently changed nor added any new hardware associated with sound.have a look at hardware/device manager and report any yellow exclamation or question marks. I assume we are dealing with external powered speakers here. Try another SET of speakers plugged into the appropriate sound output jack. truenorthDo a system restore to before the problem started.
