Answer» So, I was cleaning up my computer, puttin' files on CDs and stuff, when my speakers STARTED fuzzing and whistling and stuff. My friend helped me format my hard drive, we were gonna do that anyway. Now the sounds from the speakers are crazy and regular things like music blare at full volume. I can't adjust it at all with the knob on the speakers. The slider in volume control works but I want the knob back. ThanksHow handy are you with a soldering iron? You will need to replace the potentiometer. Radio Shack can PROBABLY fix you up with what you need.or buy a can of carbontech......this will CLEAN the contacts in your speaker SWITCH... |
