Answer» I'm getting a new computer, and I need to find out which processor is better. I'm choosing between a Pentium 4 670 Processor with HT Technology (3.80 GHz, 800 FSB), or Intel CORE 2 Extreme processor x6800 (2.93 GHz). I'm thinking that Pentium 4 with the 3.80GHz is better, but the Intel Core 2 is the new line of processors, so I'm not sure which is better. Can some of you, who know computer hardware tell which is better?Dual core is the latest buzz word so if you want to be cutting edge GO there. Speed isn't everything anymore. Umm, that would be the second choice.Which one costs more? Duel-core.
