PSU=Power Supply Unit
Are you trying to connect to a laptop or desktop? You have no place to plug it into on a laptop.

This one has it's own power supply:

yup im plugging it into my laptop. ill GET the one with the power supply. cheersFor data recovery you WOULD be better served to grab the one i showed and plug it into a working desktop machine with a burner...He doesn't have a desktop, but has a NEW laptop with the hard drive from the old laptop. No burner is necessary, just copy the files from the old hard drive to the new laptop.OK...if you insist.
He can do it your way.Me? Insist? It's not my computer.Nor is it mine...
