Solve : need help finding a better auto typer ASAP!?

Answer»

Hi!

Absolutely no clue if this is even where to ask or how to ask, but I'm desperate to know so I thought I'd just shoot my question here! Does anyone know any auto typers available for download that lets you USE an entire word as the hotkey for a sentence, rather than just one single key? I've only found ones that let you use f1 to f12 as the shortcut, but i could really make use of an autotyper that lets you use words instead!

EG: If i typed 'australia' it would automatically type 'the state of Western Australia'     Short answer, No.
Long answer . If you are using a program that can be modified by you, then you could modify the input method to make real-time substitutions.

I did something like that years AGO for a Real-Estate salesman. He did not like typing some phrases, so I automated the input program to replace a word with a phrase.

Bu there are some serious issues with that kind of trick.I is hard to make it into a generic thing that can be widely used by others. It is very prone to making problems.

Instead, people use the one or two key macros to insert words of phrases into a document. For more about the sort of thing, search for Auto-Key in the serach box.

What you want is called 'auto-fill' or something like that. HEREIS a LINK that might help:

Automatically insert text
Applies To: Word for Office 365 Word 2016 Word 2013 Word 2010 Word 2007
In Word you can insert text automatically with either blocks of preformatted text from your AutoText gallery, or with words, phrases, or sentences that Word automatically completes after you've typed only a few characters.
This is only for the products listed.
I use this utility: https://www.shortkeys.com/?ID=sklh I think it should work for what you want to do.
