1.	Solve : Need help knowing what this on my screen is and if I can fix it?
Answer» I open my laptop and it opens to that. I can still log in just fine, the only issue is the screen. I feel I should mention that the battery is old and doesn’t turn on unless you plug it in. All I want to know is if I can fix this by going to a repair shop or is my laptop beyond hope? If I can fix this, is it easy enough to repair by myself or would it be recommended by someone who’s worked with HARDWARE? Ifs it’s beyond hope, could you tell me why? Thank you for the help in advance. The screen is damaged most likely caused by a faulty hinge. If you are left handed then possibly caused thru opening the screen from the left corner The Sony screens NEED to be replaced by a technician, there is a lot of work to DISCONNECT the screen and install a new one. I would look for ANOTHER laptop running Windows 10 and swap the hard drive as this could be cheaper.
