i just want to KNOW what i really need look for in buying a new tower. i have a HP, xp made in like 2001 with no upgrades. i figured just go ahead and get fully upgraded lol.

so if i buy a tower what is somethings i need look for other towers might not have.

i guess windows 7 is the thing now over XP right?

thing i need with computer
~internet
~type papers and crap
~watch streaming movies and that
~play online games. (world of warcraft, runescape) those types of online games mainly. not talking about top end gaming(like call of duty/assassians creed ect). it be a nice perk to have the option but i rather play on consoles.


those are the main things i do on my computer. I'm sure most computers now days made can do these with one finger but just want to make sure i get what i need

ALSO so also what name brands you recommend

other stuff be perks but i don't care for it and won't fork over a lot for other perks that i might not use

price limit around $400 max if avoidable
