Answer» I have an HP PAVILION ze4900 laptop. i am trying to UPGRADE the hard drive from a 40gb to a larger drive. I bought a drive off of ebay. However once i received it the connectos are different. The new drive has pins on the end, the current drive has a end similiar to a scsi drive. Is there a connector i COULD get to CONNECT the drive into my laptop? Thanks Welcome to the CH forums. Which SCSI drive connections do you mean? Displayed here are a couple of different kinds. However, REGARDLESS of above I doubt if any adapter would be suitable for use bearing in mind the lack of expansion space in a laptop. FYI the user manual is here and only mentions drives up to 60Gb (Sect 5 p.6). Good luck
