Answer» i just added a new background on my myspace page and i cant see the words on the page cause they are black mainly like my background is there anyway to change the color of the text so it can be seen? Well, it doesn't matter if I know how to do it if MySpace doesn't let you. I'm asking you to ask MySpace if they support CSS. If they do, I can give a solution quickly. If not... we'll take it from there. I have a CSS file ready to go, but it's useless if MySpace won't accept it. I am aware of the tag, but I'd prefer to avoid that if at all possible.tryin to find out right now nothin yet :-/Let us know how they answer. well nothin back from MySpace but from what i have FOUND on the net searching around it does support ithttp://mastersofmyspace.com/css/primer from what this says we can use itOK. I have it here. Read the readme for installation. (I'm not sure where your HTML files are, but...)im a dope with it comes to HTML lets see if i can pull this off but i get the html off of a website so do i just type this in on the prepaired html layout?OK. I asked Rb7de to Email all three of my accounts. I have just received it on my Yahoo! ACCOUNT, but not my MSN or Hotmail accounts. I find this to be highly disturbing. Something must be up at MSN... anyhow, I did receive it, and I'm looking it over. EDIT: OK, below is what I see. I don't see any text to the right, but there's NOTHING when I highlight. What is it you want changed? (And no, guys, I don't normally use IE. FireFox kept overriding my pages) ahh i use firefox lol here check out my myspace page on "FIREFOX" http://www.myspace.com/secksayblues MOST of the text still shows up blackI use FireFox too, but I just happened to use IE for this test. I've downloaded the source code for your page. However, loading it crashes my browser, and the HTML-Kit preview. So I'm going to have to "fly blind" so to speak, by looking at what you've got and editing the code in my HTML-Kit. I can do it, but it will take a bit. You know what I find odd? In the code, where it says "Mind over matter...", it says the table cell's background color is to be #ffffff. That's white. And yet, it comes out black. This is a bit odd... you'd think it WOULD be #000000... Another oddity: Your code (which has the deprecated tag, I note) has the bgcolor attribute (also deprecated) set to #e5e5e5. This is a very particular shade of gray. It's fairly light. Then why the heck is it black? I'm working on it - WAIT. Can you upload pure HTML to MySpace? If not, the whole thing's moot. |
