I have been looking online for a new motherboard for my new toshiba laptop and i was wondering if the motherboard needs to be from toshiba and not any other company? I was also wondering if anyone could tell me a good place to buy a motherboard.eBay.
Buy a "PARTS" laptop from a trusted seller that has a problem other than the mobo.
Your model number, of course.

well, the problem is that i want my laptop to play new games and to do so i need a better graphics card. I know that desktops are better for gaming but i'm going on a long trip and so here I am.With the money you will spend trying to UPGRADE a laptop to a gaming machine you could get one HECK of a DESKTOP gaming machine...
You'll see once you start shopping around.You are not LIKELY to have success with this adventure. Sorry.This will not work, abandon it before you waste time, money and probably your laptop.
The only thing you can do is to buy a new laptop or desktop.
