In an effort to resolve that issue, I follwed a suggestion to disable the touchpad. Like an idiot I did, and now my laptop is useless because I have no way to get the CURSOR moving. Not TRYING to get rid of you but you might like to register there and post your query for the Satellite buffs. Good luckThe Synaptics touchpad can be enabled/disabled via the BIOS. There are also a comprehensive set of controls under Control PANEL>Mouse>Touchpad.
