Solve : Nettop - Any good? Do yu have one??

Answer» This forum defines NETTOP as :
Nettop
A term coined by Intel that describes a type of desktop computer that is much CHEAPER ...

Oh My! I am a sucker for much CHEAP! If I have only invested in quality, I would have more stuff that still works!
Or did the mean cost-effective?
Do they REALLY work?
Do you have one?
One this forum I can not find much reference to them. Maybe that is because it is not the sort of THING you would brag about?

"nettop" would probably be the type of machine I refer to as "legacy-free" which is the only "advantage" of the machines (no PS/2, no Serial or parallel, etc) which leaves USB, which even though it's pretty muc hthe only external interface, they use motherboards with awful implementations of it. leaving much to be desired.

Additionally they often employed wacky case design and proprietary components, too.
