Answer» Hi,
first of all sorry for my bad english and possibly wrong place for this question.
I putted my new pc together 2 days ago, putted windows 8.1 on it but haven't bin able to install the DRIVERS for the mobo or GPU yet.
But each time i start it up, wether its on windows or the BIOS screen it shuts down afther 5 minutes i can almost STOPWATCH it each time. Also when i start it there is a continuous beep comming from the PSU until it shuts down. Then when i want to power it up again (directly afther it shuts down) i can't. Well i found out that i can but first i have to clear the COM RAM or just wait 10 minutes.
I checked if it was the CPU overheating but i don't think so cause when its on the BIOS screen you can see the CPU temp and it never goes above 42°C so ye..
These are my parts: Case: NZXT H440 - Midtowermodel Mobo: MSI Z97 GAMING 5 - Socket 1150 - ATX Processor: Intel Core i7 4790K / 4 Ghz - 8 MB cache Processor cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO - 92mm GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gaming - 3GB - PCI-E RAM: Kingston HyperX BEAST 16GB - PC3-19200 - DIMM HDD: Western Digital Black, 2 TB PSU: Seasonic M12II Bronze Evo Edition - 850 Watt fully modular OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit, OEM
Can someone please help me with this, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks. Did you apply thermal PASTE properly ? ? Are all MBoard standoffs in place ? ?i think so there is about a pee sized amound of thermal paste on there? and i'm still testing it on the mobo box before i PUT it in the case.
I'll doublecheck the thermal paste againi reapplied the thermal paste and cleaned the surface of the heatsink, the temperature stays around 35 °C. Tried it again and it just shuts down again after a few minutes... I really have no idea what it could be. Everyting just dies all at once and i cant power up directly after it dies?
help Try another PSU...
