Incidently dvd drive is donor out of my old machine! please please helpIs your cpu fan running? Is the cpu fan getting its power from the aptly labeled "cpu fan" pins on the motherboard? yeah cpu running from right pins, so much so i nearly cut my finger off LOLYou can probably look at the CPU temp and fan speeds in the BIOS, probably under the head of PC Health (or something similiar). What shows up there? cpu fan speed 780rpm chassis fan speed N/A power fan speed 1757 rpm
thinking about it i may NEED to new gel as old stuff was left out a couple of days due to being messed about by suppliercpu temp on 59 - 60c
