so i bought parts and built..


Rampage III Extreme: tested at store, works

Intel CORE i7 950: tested in friends comp, works

XFX Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition: tested in friends comp, works

3x2GB Corsair XMS3 CHS DDR3 1600 CL: tested individually in all slots and also friends memory 2GB witch works fine, ram works

1000W power supply, works


Tested outside case, it doesen't short it out.
all cables checked many times.
tested with other monitors as well as resetting cmos



everything seems ok but no post beep/signal.
please help me! i dont wanna pay 50-60€ for fixing this.MBoard standoffs in place ? ?
Thermal PASTE applied correctly ? ?
New or used PSU ? ?

PS: Is this your 1st BUILD ? ?standoffs in place
thermal paste factory applied.
brand new psu, yes big enough. calculted was 750W recommended
PS. I'm experienced, built maybe 5-10 or so.
What happens with only 1 twoG stck of RAM ? ?No beep/signl. not any difference at allTry booting with only PSU, Mobo and Video card only(No RAM) if it will produce a POST beep/s sound or display message. Then with 1 RAM(good) inserted(testing on either slot on every reboot). What brand PSU is this ? ?Xilence 1000W REDWINGBorrow a known good one of at least 750W and swap it in there...

Not sure if it's the culprit here but it won't cost a dime to ttry it out and see...
