Ok i posted a thing few days ago that ima get a new computer and yea i have decided to GO with intel can you guys tell me some essencials i should have in my new computer? (im gonna build it)

Heres wut i want my computer to acomplish

1 Math extensive programs
i use photoshop almost everyday for different purposes
2 listen to music while working
3 The computer will be on for the most of the day (at least 7 HOURS a day)
4 Gaming (CS, WOW, SC, DOD)

My budget isnt too flexible i could afford up to 1300 for my new computer

Please list wut im gonna need for these tasks ( MAKERS will be helpful) and any recommandations for INTEL cpus.

So any advises, tips, recommadations will be appreciated

You need to have a 1.6 GHZ PROCESSOR for best performance... You will need a 128 MB video card for the gaming... Probably 1GB RAM for music and working, as well as gaming... Being on for most of the day should not need anything special... And for special programs to be used, you should have at least a 40 GB hard disk... A 60GB if you have a lot of large programs.... However, for $1300, those specs are not easy to come up on.... For the best price, maybe a Compaq? I question their reliability, but, it might be worth it...  

[GLB]Flame[/glb]kpforizzle......What components from your existing pc could you use in the new one ?  You might wish to consider a bare bones Kit.....
You could reuse things like ......
Monitor , Keyboard , Mouse , Vid card , cd-rom , DVD drives , Ethernet card , Hard drives ......That way you can spend your dollars on say a P4 3.2 HT and a big wack of ram ........and if your heavy into movies ....a big Hard drive .
