Solve : New computer issue?

Answer»

Hey there, just bought a computer, a bought it with out an OS so i did a clean install my self. This is all fine and dandy until i install the drivers for my graphics card, the graphics card is the 4850ati 1GB, Once i do this my computer BOOTS up but when it loads it will lose signal and the screen will go strange. Im not sure of what the problem could be, any one have any ideas, the computer is fine until i install the graphics card drivers but OBVIOUSLY with out it looks disgusting. Ive tried installing the drivers from the website and from the CD, it nearly worked once and my screen looked ok, but then it kept losing signal and going on and off.

My pc specs are:

Asus p5q pro
Intel core 2 Duo E8400
ATI 4850 1GB

Think thats all you need to know.

Thanks in advanceIs it possible you can try another monitor? Also, what operating system are you using?
