Answer» hello people quick question. i am installing my first hdd and i am trying to avoid any problems with losing my computer virginity. i have a 20g hdd (FAT32). i am adding a 80g WD hdd (i got it for $29, couldn't pass it up). anyhow, my question is, if i use ntfs on the NEW drive, can i still transfer files to it from my fat32 hdd? i don't know much about FAT32 or NTFS.That depends on your Operating System.im running xp pro, sp1. will this be a problem? thanks for the reply!Won't be a problem, XP can read both file system types.
