Get an Airport-compatible network CARD for the laptop and whatever the Mac needs to contact Airport and you can share the printer over a wireless LAN. If the printer connects to the Mac via USB or Firewire, you can connect the laptop via USB or a PCMCIA card Firewire port to the printer. Just download the appropriate driver from HP and you're in business. Apple did far better DEVELOPING USB (Apple Desktop Bus) and Firewire than they did with obsolete Appletalk...
