You will need an XP CD that matches your flavor and includes SP2 or else the repair install will fail early on since it's looking for SP2 components... The other option is SLIPSTREAMING your XP CD with SP2...a bit of work but very doable...Also, if you have IE7 installed on your PC, you will need to slipstream IE7 as well as SP2/SP3 into your XP CD. If you don't, then Very Bad THINGS can happen...
