Answer» Hi all, basicaly i have just built myself a new pc, but, its not behaving like i would expect it too... Im after some help figuring out the problem and then hopefully fixing it...
First off, this is everything i have bought.
CPU AMD Phenom II X4 945, Deneb Core, SOCKET AM3, 3.0GHz
Mobo MSI 790GX-G65
GFX Card [/B]1GB Power Color HD 5830
RAM 2GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS3, DDR3 PC3-10666 (1333) Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24, 1.50V
PSU 750W Powercool PC750UM, Modular, 80%+ Eff, Dual 12V, Sli/Xfire, ATX12V V2.2 PSU
Case NZXT Tempest Black Mid Tower
Basicaly, it just seems unstable.... when playing games they ether crash or hang.... its driving me insane! atm im running the OS off an IDE HDD, and have a Sata 1tb for my MEDIA stuff.
anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem or how to pin point the problem?
Cheers all!Is the RAM compatible with the board? (Like on a compatibility list?)
Not on the list...My RAM should be compatible with my mobo, supports DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600(OC)

i have ran lots of stress testing software and log's to try and figure out the problem but not 100% SURE what t is at the moment. Ran tests on RAM, CPU, Gfx card ETC, only thing i can think of is maybe a unstable PSU giving in when the computer is under heavy load e.g. games.
