just bought some logitek speakers. i bought them as the ones on my lap top are blown and because i LIVE on a boat and these spaeakers work off the usb they seemed perfect. but when they are plugged in the sound still comes out of the old speakers. ive trouble shooted and made sure they are turned on etc but have accomplished nothing. the laptop is a toshiba qosmio g10 and is 2 years old
thanksTry going to START > Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices.  Click on the Audio tab.  Are your speakers listed under Sound playback?  If so, select them and click on OK.  Does this help?i checked that, still didnt work Do you have another computer to test them on?yeah i tested them on my sisters lap top when she was over. they WORKED fine no probs.What Operating System is the laptop running? What model are the speakers? Try searching the model number at http://www.logitech.com/ and see if you can find something about trouble shootings or anything to help you. dont know the model, it dosnt say and i dont have the box, so i CANT even take them back. good job my dad bought it lol. erm i will take them in when i take my laptop to be fixed. thanx anyway
