Travel to Dell's site and enter your service tag # from the back of the machine...the results will be what's in your machine...

enter it where ? it is a big site.Go to www.dell.com, then CLICK on product support.  Then click on the link that asks for your service tag.  The site is quite logical.this is a helpful link . I did not find my chipset.Would it be under a different NAME?I think Everset Home pc scanner will tell you what chipset is on your motherboard.
