Solve : Newly assembled PC not booting?

Answer»

I have assembled a new PC with the following config:
Intel ATOM D2500HN motherboard
Hynix 2GB SO-DIMM DDR3 Component NUMBER HMT125S6BFR8C-H9N0
ADATA SSD Drive SP900 64 GB
Panache T-3311 MINI ITX cabinet
USB Keyboard and Mouse

On trying to boot the PC, the green LED (HD LED) flashes - two short, one long. No change APPEARS on the screen - no BIOS screen or error message appears. No lights flash on the keyboard too.

I have checked the RAM on a different PC and it works fine. I have not checked the SSD yet, but it is brand new and expected to be OK.

Please help!!!2 short 1 long sounds like RAM to me...
Did you check the MBoard Manual for a QVL list for what RAM is recommended for that board ? ?Yes, did that. The RAM I'm using is on the list.Try it with one stick...then i'd LOOK up the beep codes for that BIOS...
I could be wrong.Thanks Patio!!

It WAS the RAM at fault. I tried the SO-DIMM in the other slot and it works fine!Cool...we love success stories here...
Glad you're fixed up.
