All the 8800 GTX needs is a PCIe x16 slot. But your CPU is GOING to seriously be holding it back. You won't really be able to PLAY most of the current games. I suggest you buy a WHOLE new PC. You can buy a C2D CPU, motherboard and 2GB of RAM for 300$. Thats half of what you intend to spend onthe 8800 GTX, and if you only have 600$, then buy the new PC and an 8800 GTS because the GTS will perform a lot better than the GTX with the Pentium 4.
