Answer» Hi, I am trying to figure out what has happened to my audio. I have just recently INSTALLED service pack 3, that may or may not be the issue. I have no problem playing audio on media player or other players. I can't get audio on any online site except Iwon. I have windows xp pro. I saw another post that said to download everest and I did, but don't know what to do with it. As you may note, I am not a computer whiz. I just found out that yahoo launchcast is also working but not the others.try clicking Start > Run and type in msconfig On the STARTUP tab look for anything to do with your audio and uncheck it. click apply and restart the computer... see if that works. It worked with my ex's computer which had the same/similar problem.Download this registry fix: http://z2.invisionfree.com/ComputerHelp/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=4141692 Double click on it, allow registry merge. Restart computer.
