I try pressing the power button and nothing happens, there is a green light on the mobo but thats it, both power connectors are in, I have tried takening them out and putting them in, and tried removing the graphics card.
No fans start either, what could be wrong?
I have tried using a screw driver to start the computer, incase of a problem with the switchIf the power button doesnt work at the front of the case, verify that its cable is plugged into the correct "berg stix" location ( gold PINS ) Most newer motherboards have color coded berg stix Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Black ... to make plugging the correct cable into the correct setting on the berg stix on the motherboard.
Green led, means that it is powered, but not acknowledging the soft power boot function. The soft power button plugge dinto the wrong berg stix will do this!!
DaveHi, Im not sure what you mean by "berg stix" but it is in the correct socket in the mobo and I did SAY I have tried with a screw driver as well.
I have posted this on another forum, and most people think its a FAULTY PSU, so I was wondering what you guys think.
