Answer» Just built my new computer and the mother board i have has no video CHIPSET in it. So i put a new video card that i bought along wit the other parts in it and its not giving any display to my monitor... Some help will be appreciated thanks guys. The LIGHTS and the fans do work in the case just no picture on the monitor

Does the computer appear to OTHERWISE power up?
What steps have you taken so far to troubleshoot the problem?The monitor is stayin in Sleep mode, it doesnt show a "no signal" like it does when its unplugged.
The computer seems to be fine when powering up. I know the monitor is good cause IVE used it with the computer im using now.
Ive double checked on all the hookups and everything. Made sure the RAM was in the right place also...Do you have ANOTHER video card that you can use to test?
Do you have another computer that you can use to test the video card?Dont have another video card but ill test it in another computer...give me 10 mins Never mind dont have another computer to test it in either. so im still stumped ill keep lookin around Do you have the card's power connector plugged in?
Do you have the card in the PCIEX16_1 slot?
