Answer» I have a problem and NOTHING is covered in all the books and the website's that I have been to!
I have three hard drives (40gb, 60gb and 120gb) all with windows xp(home).
Everything was fine up untill a couple of days ago when i had a core dump for the first time. No worries (i thought), i ran recovery and chkdsk /r then fixboot then exit. and now my storage(SLAVE) HARDDRIVE is the only one that i can get to work. Not GOOD when you take into account that all my PROGRAMS where on the master.
i don't think its the IDE controller or the harddrive's.
this recovery thing..... it may have wiped your other drives?...did you check it? when you were doing a recovery options to see what it was doing?have a look in the disk management to see if your other drives are still there....
