Solve : No Monitor Signal? |
|
Answer» HELLO, My computer starts up - the power lights turn on and the fan whirs as normal, but there is no signal to the monitor. Also, none of the lights in my mouse and KEYBOARD turn on. I thought my video card was broken, so I tried the video card on a different computer and it worked fine. I connected a new video card to the computer and the computer would not detect the new video card, it only detected the ONBOARD video card. The monitor worked on a different computer, so I know the monitor is fine. I retried the old video card that I thought was broken, and now the computer does not detect this video card nor the onboard video card. Are there any other tests I can run to test conclusively what is broken? I've tried the RAM permutations and taking out and plugging back in the CMOS battery. Thanks a LOT guys!Do you have acess to ANOTHER power supply? If so use it a a test . The power supply has to be of equal wattage or greater |
