Answer»

I tried the Vista upgrade DVD and STILL GOT nothing. I did come across a diagnostic test in the boot MENU and am testing computer. The mouse works there and I received a IDE device failed error. You're getting SOMEWHERE...Thanks for your help Broniwell u can still use ur mouse as the keyboard by using the onscreen keyboard. but when u were trying ur keyboard did u plug it in after the computer booted up?Try using a differnt IDE drive. Just to see if this isn't causeing any problems. What test was it, and what is EXACT error?
