I found one of my old ast LAPTOPS and formatted the cluttered harddrive. when I went to install my 95 on it (because it only has floppy drive) it said invalid system disk replace and strike any key. As you may know there is a series of 13 disks and I tried the first and that message came up. In the BOOK to help you through the install procedure it only offers 2 options: install from earlier version of windows and install from DOS. and I cannot seem to GOT into BIOS either. The laptop doesn't prompt me to push any buttons it just goes to the message earlier stated can I install any OS from scratch and then upgrade it to 95 or am I making all this WAY to complicated?Just for fun,  visit   www.bootdisk.com and download what you need to make a bootable floppy.

Make a boot floppy, and then try to boot from that.    Just to see what happens.


doesn't work. it did something the first time but then it stopped. after it did that something it rebooted and said invalid system disk all over again and whatever I do I can't repeat that result.
