I have and Acer Aspire 3000 laptop that no longer has a great connection with my power cord. Power light signifying electricity is getting in there COMES on only as the cord gets jostled around. I have had to crack this puppy open frequently in the recent past due to a faulty cooling fan. I've also not noticed anything loose last time I was in there. Any suggestions?Where do you "jostle" the cord...at the connection to the laptop / in the middle of the cord? Could be a bad cord / bad connection at the laptop.
Alan <>< the jostling OCCURRED nearest to the laptop. And, upon CLOSER inspection, there was a definite indentation in the cord. So I decided to open up that bad boy and found that the cord was in fact severed...so the jostling briefly reconnected everything. next step for me is to replace or fix. Thx for the help
