1.	Solve : no power,just blinking lights?
Answer» I have a compaq about 4 yrs old,I moved it from one room to the other and when i plugged it back in it flashed on for a sec,then the lights on the back and front started blinking,with a ticking sound in the rear.I unplugged EVERYTHING then tried again but the same thing.So do I just need a new power supply?ThanksYou got it To be sure COMPLETELY, you may want to use other computers at home and swap the PSU see if that will start it up.ok,thanks alot,I had an old computer but it didint have enough wires,It did HOWEVER turn on the fan,which the other psu did not power.Again thanks Before you go out and buy one borrow one from a friend that has the same wattage or greater and swap it in there... It may just be that SOMETHING came loose in the move. Re-check all connections and re-seat the RAM and any addon cards.
