Answer» After retuning from a few weeks away, I tried to turn on my computer and not lights, no fan, no nothing. I tried changing power cords, plugs and still nothing. It was working fine when I left. I TURNED it off before leaving. Any ideas? Are you sure everything is plugged in?
Just to make sure, does anything else work in that power socket?Yes, I have checked the power source. I am at a loss as to what to try next. I have done a bit of repair. As long as there are not too many supply plugs, I should be okay. Any SUGGESTIONS on what brand or type I should buy? It is an older computer, but has had many upgrades over the years. I am running Windows XP, not sure of the processor speed, but it is about 3 years old since upgrades.I wouldn't ask me what PSU to get. I don't really have an preferences. Something that cools well would be preferable. Thanks again. You have been a great help. I am sure I will find an appropriate one for my system.Good Luckif im not too late, i recommend a corsair PSU. they are known to be very reliable and they also come with a limited 5 year warranty.
