Answer» I have just recently installed a new hard drive and reinstalled windows xp home edition on it, and now I have no sound at all. How can I sort this out?You have to install drivers for your sound card for it to work. What is the computer or motherboard make and model? Do you have an add-on sound card?
You probably need other motherboard drivers as well. My computer is made by Packard Bell and my Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-8SIML. I think i would just have a standard sound card, no add-on sound card or anything.
Can you help at all with the info I've given above or would you need to know more?DLoad and install Everest and post more info about your machine...--------[ EVEREST Home Edition (c) 2003-2005 Lavalys, Inc. ]------------------------------------------------------------
