Solve : No sound from DVD's but CD's play ok?

HI,

I have a PENTIUM 4 running xp.

I have one DVD player/CD burner and one DVD/CD burner. EVERYTHING was working fine until recently and now I cannot GET SOUND from my DVD's out of either player. Yet i can get sound from CD's. Does anyone know whats wrong?
