Solve : No sound in internet browser !?

Answer»

First of all I'm really , really , really sorry for posting this to the wrong place , I really don't know where this goes . :[

Anyways ..

<------------X------------->

My internet browsers have no sound at all . Everything else in my PC works 100% fine : I hear sounds , music works , voice clips work , everything ! But nothing comes out of internet browsers . I mainly USE Opera and seconday Mozilla Firefox . I'm pretty much sure it's not with : Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Advanced -> blablabla * Don't remember further , lol * -> Multimedia . It's not the settings either .

Might it be associated with my drivers ?

DriverAgent scan ID : 38b06c4e .

Once again , I'm sorry for being this dumb . I couldn't find a decent search from this forum either , Google didn't give me a working answer . Also sorry if this post already exists somewhere in this forum , I couldn't find it myself . Aaaaaand sorry again if this went to wrong section .

I'm using Windows XP SP3 x32 .

[attachment deleted by admin]Wow that's alot of sorries

Anyway..Is it possible you have your speakers set to 4 channel or 5.1 channel and you are using the rear speaker port to connect your speakers? for internet viewing eg youtube, it will only play out of the from the front LINES out.aaand how the *censored* do i change it ?Down in the bottom right corner is the system tray, one of those icons should be for your speaker drivers. I cannot give specific instructions, as different driver sets have different layouts.

Otherwise, make sure that your speakers are plugged into the GREEN socket on the rear of your computer.Quote from: Kurtiskain on August 19, 2009, 05:48:44 PM
