i bought new computer with this monitor ....but as soon as i put EVERYTHING together and is switched on ...there is no sound.
 
its weird there is no audio lead on the monitor which comes with normal monitors which is the thin lead with the green ends which stickes to backof monitor and PC unit
unless im blind.  so i dint expect any sound if thi slead wasnt connected.
 
Has this built in speakers ? if so ... i cant get the sound
 
please help not sure what to do . and as you have judjed by the email i am a complete computer novice 
 
Many Thanks in advanceJust plug some speakers into the back of the pc this will be labeled headphones and USUALLY green in COLOR, if you still hear nothing try installing the sound drivers.this is a fairly new monitor shoudl it not come with built in speakers..... this is unusual ?
If this is the audio lead from the monitor and it doesn't work then test the audio with some speakers to rule out the monitor. But first check if you have installed sound card drivers.. Press Start, Control Panel, Device manager.. Under device manager look under Sound Game Controller and tell use what it says? is there any yellow SIGNS?"i bought new computer with this monitor " refer to the manual that came with the monitor --or look it up online and determine IF it does have integrated speakers. truenorth
PSST.Wana buy a new monitor that has integrated speakers---well this ain't it. Buy some speakers.
