Answer» I just recieved my new montior Asus VK222.
I plugged it into my new PC (first time it was BOOTED) and it worked. I saw the splash screen logo for my motherboard and then i went into the BIOS. The only things i changed was the time (was out by 6 hours) and i turned off the splash screen on startup.
I saved and exited and the pc rebooted. Now all i get is No VGA Signal on the monitor. I'm using DVI-to-DVI so the VGA message is weird. I have tried using a VGA cable with DVI-to-VGA adapters. Still no luck. Although at times the message becomes No DVI Signal.
I have tried reseating the gfx card, clearing the CMOS and TURNING the computer on and off several times lol (wishful thinking).
Any ideas what may be the problem?
My specs are: Asus p5n-e SLI board intel E8400 cpu 2GB kingston hyperx ddr2-800 ram nvidia geforce 9600gt cardHave you tried booting into safe mode ? ?
