Solve : none of my mouses connect to my dell computer?

1.	Solve : none of my mouses connect to my dell computer?
Answer» i got a dell wireless keyboard and MOUSE a while ago but i had to buy batteries to often so i went and bought a WIRED mouse today so i dissconnected my wireless mouse and keyboard a CONNECTED my new wired mouse but after i connected it my dell computer would not let the mouse work until i uninstalled the old mouse but when i tried to plug in the old mouse it doesnt connect so now neighther of my mice work and i cannot move the cursor1) How did you "uninstall" the old mouse? 2) Doesn't the laptop have a touchpad? 3) Have you rebooted since uninstalling whatever you uninstalled?
