I have not long bought a Vista Packhard Bell Imedia PC. Om my old XP I used NORTON GO back and will not be able to put on Vista. What I would like to know and do is having bought Norton save & restore ,can I do the back up on a external USB hard DRIVE. Also my knowlodge is very limited and any advice would be most welcome.
WGAn external HDD needs a bunch of WHACKING with a pipe WRENCH and some finnessing of the setup files to boot any OS after Win2K...

What exactly is it you want to accomplish here ? ?Well what I have is a Norton Save and Restore CD as I have said.It is supposed to do restore points at different points as set. I have tried to get to check for a CERTAIN restore point and it has done restore but will not enable to do the restore
