Answer» I am running an MSI z87 PC Mate motherboard with an intel Pentium g3258, 8 GB DDR3-2400Mhz RAM, and an MSI GTX 770 graphics card with Windows 8 installed. My problem is that when I BOOT up, I can't access the BIOS to overclock the pentium 'k'. I don't know whether the SSD just boots up the computer to quickly (even from a cold boot) or if MAYBE the Motherboard is being weird and not letting me US my keyboard before it's booted fully or near fully, or maybe the graphics card isn't letting me see the splash screen and won't load a picture on the screens at all if I press the delete key (BIOS access key for me).
I'll quickly run you through the scenario of what happens when I boot it up. Power button LED turns on, then the mouse, keyboard, and headset all turn on with their respective lights and sounds, nothing is displayed on the monitors. After about 5 seconds of waiting, it finally displays something, but It happens to be the Windows 8.1 login screen.
Scenario 2: I start it up the same way, but I spam the delete key several times throughout the process, I wait and wait, but no picture displays at all.
Scenario 3: I boot up holding various keys and/or multiple keys at the same time (to give a keyboard error to take me to the BIOS), nothing happens at all.
If you know of a way to get to the BIOS, that would be amazing, I have tried the way of accessing it in Windows 8 though the advanced TROUBLESHOOTING method, no EUFI BIOS option exists for some reason.USB keyboard ? ? If so disconnect the data cable from the HDD... Re-boot and hammer the delete key... GO thru all the options and "enable legacy devices" and hit F10 to "save changes and exit"... Then re-connect the data cable and you should be good to go.
