Solve : Not being able to view 2nd Partition?

Answer»

I have installed Windows 7 on the computer, not mine. And Before I installed it I made 2 partitions of ONE 600GB hard drive, the 100GB where the OS will be the 500GB just hanging. After the installation completed the 500GB drive isn't showing up.
I wanted to check through the Setup when the computer loads but the keyboard isn't recognized that QUICKLY so no matter what function key you press the computer doesn't register it.

So basically I want to ask if there is a way to go through the cmd to fix the problem.
The computer is brand new, built from scratch.
So any help will be great. Thanks. If you need any more info please let me know.
Thanks.Did you remember to format the PARTITION after creating it ? ?
This can be done thru Disk Management. You probably did not format it. Go to START - RUN - diskmgmt.msc
If the partition shows up as unallocated, just right-click & format it.I'm quicker with Forum lag....

WHat if it won't show up there?
Just asking this so I can cover all the problems at once because they don't have an internet. It'll show up. You forgot to format it QUOTE from: patio on January 14, 2010, 10:03:56 AM
