Well, as was asked above maybe a picture will help - hard to ENVISION what you're talking about. Give safe mode a shot and see if the screen is any better. If not, my GUESS is you probably need a new video card or there's something WRONG with the lcd screen.As Soon As I Can Get It Started I'll Get A PictureMore questions.
Does the OP live in an area with high temperatures?
Maye high humidity?
Has the battery ever been replaced? A failing battery may cause the symptoms.
Has the CMOS battery been replaces?
Has the Laptop been cleaned of dust and dirt?

No Been Usin The Same Battery For The Last 5 Years
