I NEED HELP. I have bought a new machine this week. My Configuration is
P4 3.06 HT processor Intel D102G-GC2 motherboard 80 GB HDD 1 gb RAM SONY DVD RW.
Now i m installing OS win-xp from bootable CD. It is properly installed but when i insert any CD(Driver) I get an error saying "F:\ is not a valid win32 application" F: is my DVD drive. I am able to access Audio cd Able to see the content of CD, but if the CD is auto run than it wont work.Also not able to run any .exe file ex:setup.exe files. so please help me

patio. 8-)OK, well since U say that NO MATTER what disk u put in the drive, u get the same error, im assuming that its not a problem with the files on the disks but with the hardware itself.
If u just bought this DVD-RW, did u install the latest drivers for it? Try installing those drivers and tell me if the problems persists. According to my calculations this is probably a driver problem, or the DVD-RW dosent work well and so u should exercise ur Warranty and get another one from the same place.
