Answer» I have bought a SATA HDD 750GB capacity which is installed on Windows XP prof PLATFORM computer (Primay HDD 160GB is PATA). After installation the SYSTEM is getting rebooted with a BLUE screen saying that "The problem seems to be caused by the following file : NTFS.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" Is there any tool which is used to check the HDD? Please guide me to fix this issue. Some Google hits on NTFS.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA discuss a problem with RAM as the culprit for this error message. Did you remove your RAM when you installed the hard drive? Perhaps you should check it to make sure it's properly seated in the slot(s). By the way, why the poll? It makes absolutely no sense?
