Answer» Won't start up. XP, 2.6 Athlon
This morning, my COMPUTER began to load but went to selective start-up screen. I clicked on Normal start-up, but once it reached the Windows screen: blue screen for one second, then TRIED to re-load. This repeated itself, so I then tried Safe MODE, but Safe mode wouldn't load, either.
In short, I can't get as far as Windows.
Any help WOULD of course be greatly appreciated.

If you can't get it to stabalize in safe mode, try booting to the XP CD and run the repair console. From there you can see if there is an offending service at startup. You can also run chkdsk.
